Mel Stringer is an Australian artist currently based in the Midwest of the USA. Comics, zines, illustration, portraits and painting are just some of Mel’s favorite things to create.
Some things that make her happy, aside from creative endeavors, are traveling, exploring thrift and antique stores, cooking, hanging out with her husband, trying new foods and interesting places to eat, photography and patting cute puppies.

Mel says...
"I remember first finding Erst Wilder’s wares shortly after moving to Brisbane in 2006. Their brooches were front and center in a glass jewelry display at a boutique in Brisbane city and I thought they were vintage, being a lover of antiques. The shop assistant told me they were brand new and I became an instant fan. I loved their thoughtful packaging, incredible attention to detail and just the sheer quality of their pieces. The ode to older style materials and styles really appealed to me greatly.
So when I contacted them about possibly working together, I was so surprised and flattered to hear that they were actually thinking of getting in touch with me to collaborate."
