FOODBANK AUSTRALIA PARTNERSHIP

These are tough times. There’s no doubt about that. But even when we’re all struggling in our own ways with our own problems (which are all very valid and very real), it’s important to remember that there are others out there who are doing it even tougher, who are more vulnerable, and who need a helping hand. As a label that exists to spread joy, we see it as our responsibility to help where we can. And, you, our unbelievably caring and generous community, have shown just how much good we can do in the world, together.

In January 2020, to assist with Bush Fire relief, we donated 100% of sales over two days to WIRES Wildlife Rescue and you helped us raise over $40,000. What an incredible result! You should all feel very good about that. We’re also proud partners of the Anzac Appeal and Poppy Appeal. To date, we’ve supported RSL Victoria with nearly $15,000 of donations. Now, we’re delighted to announce our new charity partnership with FOODBANK AUSTRALIA.

FOODBANK AUSTRALIA provides food relief through a network of 2,400 charities across Australia. They’re currently assisting 815,000 people a month, from women escaping domestic violence to vulnerable children to asylum-seekers to remote indigenous communities. And with many Australians now in isolation, some without any means off accessing key food and grocery items, their mission has never been more critical. On Thursday April 9^th (Unicorn Day) we launched 3 new styles of our darling Ula Unicorn brooch. And by pledging to donate $5 from the sale of each Ula Unicorn design until 11:59pm (AEST) Friday 10^th April, we managed to raise $1,510!!!

Our partnership is continued too in April. On Wednesday April 15th we launched a collection of new 'Fan Favourite' designs and again donated $5 from the sale of each new release brooch, necklace and earring design until 11:59pm (AEST) Thursday 16^th April.
